Six Practices for Secure AI

Six best practices for secure AI innovation, written for the people who have to ship and the people who have to sign.

Most AI security advice arrives as a prohibition. Do not paste the secret. Do not trust the model. Do not ship the demo. Useful, and incomplete. Teams still have to build.

These six practices are written as operating rules, not scare copy. Scope the data. Separate the identities. Log the prompts you would be willing to read aloud. Treat the model as an untrusted component. Review the output like code. Keep a human on the decision that can hurt someone.

The tone is deliberate. Innovation is not the opposite of control. It is what control is for.

A model is an untrusted component. Treat it like one and you can still ship.
